Lindsay Lyon, MBA, MA, AMFT, APCC
Primary Therapist
My name is Lindsay Lyon, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I have completed my BA, MBA, and MFT degrees. I am EMDR certified with extensive training in treating Eating Disorders and Substance Use Disorders. In addition to my clinical work, I have developed and teach curriculum in the areas of psychology and mental health treatment I proudly serve on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
In my therapeutic approach, I draw upon a diverse range of modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment Theory. I strive to safely guide clients through developmental and acute trauma in order to foster self-awareness, identify self-limiting beliefs, cultivate new coping skills, and learn healthy communication styles. In this way clients and their families are able to more successfully navigate their challenges, to grow, and to find healing and freedom.
