DeMarco Cubero

Chief Financial Officer

DeMarco is a finance executive leader possessing 15+ years of expertise with high growth and Fortune 500 corporate healthcare experience managing financial planning, budgeting and conveying continuous operational process improvements designed to mitigate cost and optimize revenue.  He is noted for being a strong executive team leader driven with a solid foundation in process improvement, risk management and fiscal budget responsibility.

Before joining Sierra by the Sea, DeMarco served in the capacity of a Controller, Director of Finance and a Financial Consultant, at notable organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Molina Healthcare and WellPoint, where he was instrumental as a business partner and successfully surpassing company’s strategic goals.  He has a strong passion and an extensive healthcare background working in HMO, Hospital and Managed Care environments and possesses a strong technical expertise coupled with his financial and accounting experience.

DeMarco holds a degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University of Long Beach and is currently pursuing his CPA.

DeMarco loves to volunteer and has enjoyed participating in serving many of the underprivileged population in his community in addition to coaching youth and his three boys in football, baseball and soccer.  Both his parents are from Costa Rica and he is originally from Brooklyn, New York.  He currently resides in La Mirada with his beautiful wife of 11 years.
